I had a look on Amazon.co.uk and noticed that I couldn't find my own music in the mp3 downloads section, even though I've had it put on there. Here's what digital distributor Tunecore (the company that handle Doomanoid's digital distribution) had to say:
"Dear TuneCore Artist,
We’re currently working through business/royalty issues with our partner Amazon MP3 in the UK and Europe (other territories are unaffected). This means any releases you may have in those stores are currently unavailable for purchase.
Artists will still receive all money owed to them from their music sales in Amazon EU/UK stores.
Please know we are working diligently with Amazon to get your music back into their UK/Europe stores. For details please read our blog post on this issue.
Thank you very much for supporting TuneCore and its mission to facilitate the proper and complete royalty payments for artists around the world.
The TuneCore Team"
Does this mean we will actually get paid real money for mp3 sales made via Amazon? You can always buy physical CD's and vinyl from us here:
www.doomanoidrecords.bigcartel.com and enjoy the incredible artwork and improved sound quality of our releases. We are also on Spotify and iTunes if you must go digital!
